19th Annual Green Trade Expo 2012

The 19th Annual Green Trade Expo was a great success!  

It is Eastern Ontario's largest Green Industry Buying Show organized by the Ottawa Chapter of Landscape Ontario. This year it was held at the new Capital Exhibition Centre on February 15th, 2012. 

It was a great opportunity for landscape professionals to meet with material suppliers and equipment dealers. There was a wide array of representatives from different segments of the industry: Industrial landscaping and construction Equipment, Equipment Accessories, Landscaping supplies, irrigation, garden centre supplies, nursery products, lighting and more. Landscape professionals had a chance to interact with dealers of many reputable brands:     BOB-CAT, Kubota, CAT, John Deere, Husqvarna, Toro, Ferris, Exmark, Ryan, twin equipment, nortrax, Echo, Tanaka, and more.

The Business Builder Education Series provided attendees with valuable information on managing IT systems, marketing their business efficiently, workplace safety & prevention services, sales training, and social media marketing strategies.

I had an opportunity to speak with Andrew Crow of G.C Duke Equipment who is a product specialist for BOB-CAT commercial mowers and Ryan Turf Equipment. Andrew explained some of the new changes on the FASTCAT PRO series of BOB-CAT commercial zero-turn mowers. This year some components have been enhanced to ensure comfort, durability and reliability for the landscape professional.
